a family in Colorado will never again have to worry about toilet breaks on the road after designing a twin-bowl toilet car. It took four years and three prototypes for Dave Hersch to perfect his design, inspired by a small 'Hot Wheels' toy car. It features a 6.5hp motor capable of driving two adults at 30mph and holds six toilet rolls and a magazine rack. Dave told Rex: "The first version was literally a toilet on top of a go cart. It didn't last past the first turn. The toilet slid off and broke into a million pieces on the...

We have all read about road rage in big metropolitan cities like like LA, NY, and Chicago, where some nut has gotten fed up with the traffic, so he goes berserk and either does damage to other vehicles, or pulls out a gun to shoot those whom he perceives as the problem. But have you ever seen a dog commit road rage? Well in this video you will see a dog in a man's way on a road, but instead of moving out of the way, the dog decided to tear off the man's license plate from his car....

Transonic Combustion, a startup based in Camarillo, CA, has developed a fuel-injection system it says can improve the efficiency of gasoline engines by more than 50 percent. A test vehicle equipped with the technology gets 64 miles per gallon in highway driving, which is far better than more costly gas-electric hybrids, such as the Prius, which gets 48 miles per gallon on the highway.

The masterminds behind the Mentos/Coke geysers are back, and this time they're in 3-D! They're also harnessing the chemical reaction between Mentos mint candy and Coke Zero soda pop to send a rocket car rolling out of a hangar, to a distance mark of 221 feet. EepyBird's Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz made the Mentos/Coke combination famous four years ago when they combined the ingredients to create increasingly ornate fountain displays. Since then, the stunt has generated loads of viral buzz - and even a scientific paper explaining why the combination sets off so much fizz. (It has to do...

We think you're going to be hearing a lot about this one over the next few days... or weeks. A team of researchers at the University of Washington and the University of California San Diego have determined that, with physical access to your car's ECU, a hacker could "adversarially control a wide range of automotive functions and completely ignore driver input -- including disabling the brakes, selectively braking individual wheels on demand, stopping the engine, and so on." For example, the team was able to connect a computer to a car's ODB-II port, access that computer wirelessly, and then disable...
